Beyond like-for-like

A refit is an opportunity to look beyond like-for-like replacement.

Some equipment reaches the end of its service life. Other equipment may still work, but no longer performs as well as it could. A boarding system may take too many crew to deploy. A fender arrangement may protect without integrating cleanly into the vessel. A refit creates an opportunity to review these details and consider how new equipment could improve:

  • Safety and stability
  • Crew handling and deployment
  • Guest access and comfort
  • Tender and hull protection
  • Weight and onboard storage
  • Integration with the yacht
  • Reliability and long-term serviceability

Refit & upgrade equipment

Built around the vessel.

Standard products customised — or fully bespoke equipment designed around the yacht's dimensions, operating requirements and installation space.

01 / 06Boarding stairs

Boarding stairs

Self-levelling carbon fibre boarding designed for one-person deployment.

  • Replacement of ageing boarding equipment
  • Variable dock and marina heights
  • One-person crew deployment
  • Custom finishes to complement the yacht
02 / 06Tender fenders

Tender fenders

Carbon fibre structure with an inflatable cushioning system — protection without the weight.

  • Replacing worn or ineffective fender arrangements
  • Protecting valuable tenders and yacht finishes
  • Improved crew handling and storage
  • Custom integration with the vessel
03 / 06Tender booms

Tender booms

Hydraulic telescopic booms extend from the hull and retract flush when not in use.

  • New tender-management requirements
  • Replacement of existing tender poles or booms
  • Improved tender separation and control
  • Cleaner, integrated solution
04 / 06Swim stairs & access

Swim stairs & access

Hydraulic deployment, wide non-slip teak, retracts neatly into the swim platform.

  • Swim-platform refits
  • Improved guest access to the water
  • Self-deploying handrails
  • Custom-sized access systems
05 / 06Pilot & embarkation ladders

Pilot & embarkation ladders

Lightweight stackable carbon steps, spreaders and optional offset struts.

  • Replacing heavy or difficult-to-store ladders
  • Pilot-transfer and embarkation requirements
  • SOLAS and ISO 799 compliance
  • Compact onboard storage
06 / 06Retractable light masts

Retractable light masts

Two and three-stage telescopic masts extend at the touch of a button.

  • Yachts of 50 metres and above
  • Heli-deck and flush-deck configurations
  • Anchor, signal and deck lighting
  • Custom integration during refit

Bespoke

Some refit requirements cannot be solved with a standard product.

Our in-house team develops custom carbon fibre equipment — concept, FEA, manufacture, testing and global installation support.
